Directions to get there:

To the Phase 2 Upgrading Area, Where the Playground and Jetty Stretched out area is:

Take Bus 858 from Woodlands Interchange. The Bus will go pass Marsiling MRT station and then turn right. Shortly after you’ll see a SPC Petrol Station on the right,
then followed by some eatery and Wet Market (on the right as well) The left side’s an abandon school and a soccer field.
Two stops after that is the time to get off.

National Parks presents to you Woodlands Waterfront…

They are actually still constructing Phase 2 of the whole Waterfront idea, I took the route from the under-construction side to get there.

Lots of activity were already going on before the actual Waterfront location,

Jogging,

Friends catching up for a picnic

Elderly men exploring the shoreline

and even playing with the monkeys

Went past the restricted area and I saw the man casting out net to catch fish, I was very excited! Cos that will be my first capture of people fishing with net.
