iCook
After being severly, positively provoked by The Dirty Stall and Life of Lopsided 8, I decided to cook!
Squeezed some time to go marketing and came home to do cooking and baking.
Loving the sights I see at the markets,

Papaya w Watermelon.

Purple Yellow Red

Swim Down!!! *rem Finding Nemo?
After hunting around for ingredients here and there, I got started

Dish 1:

Petai, Jap Cucumber, Ikan Billi with Sambal Balachan
Initially just wanted to use the Petai, but couldnt find it, so bought the Jap Cucumber, (brings about the crunch also)
The Sambal Balachan comes all the way from Malacca, cos whenever I travel, I dont bring back souvenir for mom and dad, I always bring back chili
Please cut the Petai into half during prepartion, u may get extra proteins inside if you’re not careful.
Dish 2:

Salmon with Leek and Ginger.
My brother loves stir-fried Salmon.
The white stuff on the Leek (to the left) isnt egg, its the natural “fats” of the Salmon fish.
Dish 3:

Huai Shan with Cai Xin Hua
This is how Huai Shan looks like before being cut up.

Pls wear gloves while preparing them. It has sap underneath the skin that makes the hand itch when handling.
This one…
Dish 4:

Frog legs in Hua Diao Jiu (Rice Wine)
Its like Chicken soaked in Wine?
kk, Chinese version.
Dish 5:

Wu Xiang
Contains minced meat, carrot, onion, prawn and chestnut.
After peeling the chestnut, dont throw away the skin n all that. Give it a good scrub down, remove the sand/mud dump them into a pot, boil and you’ll get water chestnut drink~
Anyway, for dessert:

Ready?

*sLuRp!
oki, not the ice cream, just the brownie only.

I use to use

Img Source: amazon.com
but as the days goes I tweak the recipe,
For 1, the packaging says for cookie, instruction says to add water.
To me, Cookie CANNOT add water……………. -_-”
so tweak it, do this do that, and TADA!
hey hey…
Anyway,
So yes,
My Functioning kitchen is Functioning.
and No, I’m not going to burn down the kitchen of that Dirty Stall.
Be Bless
Love,
Amanda
