OTO e-Shape

Posted on the March 30th, 2012 under Events,Fashion,Health by

Went by to OTO’s e-Shape’s launch and had the chance to try out the product.

Super bling isnt it? :D
But more than just a nice item,

The new e-Shape is equipped with a unique technology that is based on both acupuncture points and sports science. Users can look forward to detoxification and a healthier digestive system as the e-Shape uses high and varying oscillating speeds to stimulate certain acupressure points on the body.

Designed for a younger and trendier generation, the OTO e-Shape is a sleek and stylish slimming belt that can be attached to different parts of the body – arms, shoulder, abdomen, back, waist, hips, thighs, calves – to be massaged. Contrary to the perceived notion that all slimming belts are large and unwieldy contraptions, the e-Shape comes in a compact design to allow users to carry it around in their bags and even use it while driving or in the comfort of their homes.

The bloggers had the chance to try to bling up our version of the e-Shape, oh mine is so far fetch!

Issues with LWC

Went to London Weight Management for weight management assistance recently.

Felt a little disappointed by some of the things that happened.
Went to the website wanting to post a feedback but they have no such forms for feedback or reaching them.

Went to their facebook site, cannot post anything on their wall.
Tag them in my wall status update, no respond.

Well, since I have a blog and I kinda could not reach them, I’ll just put it up here then.

She looks really normal isnt it? *referring to the lady in pink on the left
Yup, 15 years past, any cancer patient that has recovered and lived through to that many number of years would definitely look normal.

Went by to Dell and Breast Cancer Foundation’s Women-Only Pink Ribbon High Tea to learn more about Breast Cancer.
Glad to see the good people from XPR again. :)

Her name is Kelly, A Breast Cancer Survivor.

One of my UniSIM classmate is also a Breast Cancer Survivor, one thing I learnt from the two of them, this illness is often the result of STRESS.
Fatal.. Stress..
That classmate of mine used to work with a newspaper publishing company, is obese, and as herself say, 2 datelines everyday. I dont think I can handle that amount of stress…

Food for thought (literally)

Posted on the January 6th, 2011 under Article,Food,Health,Interesting Blogposts by

Came upon the article “Food for thought that’ll serve dieters well” the other day, and they came up with a comic version of it soon after.

Did  you know that

“.. in an unusual study which demonstrates that merely thinking about food, without actually seeing, touching, smelling, tasting it, can help sate hunger through a process called habituation”

|Glycemic Index|

Hmm…

Was reading up on the science of Glycemic Index when I learnt that “Reducing carbs isnt exactly the right way to loss fats or gain a healthier diet…”

I was very shocked and apparently I’m not the only one who is surprised.
