|Woodlands Waterfront|

I used to visit the “Marsiling Jetty” with my dad when I was young, my dad would drive us there for a breather after a long day out.
Why Marsiling? Cos its very near my home area, aka Marsiling area. The whole stretch is like a jetty. :)

Before it became Woodlands Waterfront, It was just a stretch of walking path that overlooks the sea to Malaysia.

Occasionally, we’ll hear the train passing by or the loud *HONKS* by the lorries and trucks that are jammed in the long queue of cars. :)

At times, I would go there with my friends, take-away Old Chang Kee and talk the day away, or when I’m done with a relationship, just needed a breather to sort thoughts out, I would take a long stroll there.

Today, National Parks present to you Woodlands Waterfront…

I went by the other day to check it out.
Sure is buzzing with activities~!

Stadium Station

Pass by Stadium Station yesterday, got off the train and took some photos.

While im on the train level, the sight is gorgeous!

Like so pretty right!!!!

Then I went up…

O_O Is there an end to the steps???

apparently yes and it looked like that:

Imagine if someone were to accidentally push u while u are at the top of the steps… like… from here…

Ms Ng never had a problem with heights, or standing on my stiletto…
But this time, while on the escalator, I was freaked…
Like oki… HANG ON to the escalator handles…

and while I’m facing the staircase from the top…
I was like, OKi… time to walk away…….

My goodness…
Scare the socks out of me….

Luckily there is the lift…

and hey, nice view from here

But cant blame la huh, considering the crowd that is expected from the surrounding places….

As usual, theres always room for improvement~

:) Go check it out, I’m gonna go Bras Basah station next time~

Forlorn Toy

Was going into the lift while on my way to school when I saw this.

O_O

But hey, it was such a photography opportunity to me that I took the lift twice. :D

I like this the most:

Probably is because of the lights thats coming in? :) Its a very different feel.

The first photo itself, I wanted to use it as a twitpic (photo circulated in twitter = twitpic) but it caught me for a while. The feeling of it (the original shot) already feels very Lomo. Should I tweak it into Lomo or should I tweet the real one?

Which one looks better?

Think I never did mention about thoughts behind this photo before, St Paul’s Fort at Malacca, went there way back in December. Let me share with you here.

Have you seen the show “You’ve Got Mail”?
That scene where Tom Hanks was stuck in the lift and it just struck him who he wants to be with for the rest of his life? :)

Was composing this photo when I saw a guy walking down, that was a moment when I know exactly who I want that guy to be.

It didnt happen in the end. :)

I did something about it. Though it didnt happen in the end, we’re still friends. :)

I always tell myself, dont live  your life to regret it.
Hadnt regret much thus far. :)

kichn~

Tasted some different stuff at Kichn the other time,

Portobello Mushroom.
My friends thought they were potatos at first glance. :D

I like their prawn fritters. Its not like those skinny skinny shrimp, they are very solid and fresh. The prawn itself is not like crunchy bcos of being soaked in salt water.
I feel its true tangible solid prawn meat. *sLuRp!
Sad to say its the most exp of the 3 sides though. :)

They have new flowers by the way. :D

oh and they are featured on Business Times and 8 Days so far~

down…

Been going through plenty of down times these past weeks…
Probably just tired out ba, hmm…

well, if not for down times, would one know the up times right? :D

Its a good thing I guess, to give away Doumo.

Cos having give away Doumo I’m left with the other two bears,
One on my bed and the other in office.
Just nice, this season is a time of hugging them.

Its like a zillion years since I treated them or used them for the purpose of their presence.

The period when I had Doumo I was quite oki most of the time like once in a blue moon then I’ll grab him. Interesting now that he’s gone.

No regrets in giving away Doumo, cos life is like that. :)

Anyway, Just Saying. :)

Still me. Still strong headed, still doesnt like to beat around the bush. Still on the go. :)

NDP CCR1

My 2nd entry on NDP 2010 is out :)

http://www.ndp.org.sg/ndpeeps/?p=164

continuing here on what I didnt manage to cover over there

When I saw everything on arrival, I was more interested in taking photos of the uniform group children. *Probably too much of a teacher le ba. :D

But ya, that was the immediate thought, like you know… When I wanna shoot, theres always a sketch in mind, like wat angle, what I wanna see in my photo, those kind of thing….

anyway, :) let you see some of whats on my mind:

Standby for Water Parade!!! :D

I like this:

As always, it never have to be the subject looking at the photographer in-order for the photo to be looking good. *k, in this case looking at me la. :D

Happen to see this on the polo t of a photographer. :D *Flash us your smile. :D

I tell you the weather was so hot… that even the canteen stall holders (whos indoor) are eating ice cream…

:D

we had catered food :) Heres my boss (of the many many boss-es I have) Tommy showing off the catered food :D

:) The man behind the microphone during the rehearsal:

People camera shy la huh :D
Was there just listening to him evaluating the rehearsals…
“Sector YYY pls follow timing after … ” on and on and on just pointing out the details. (not in the room as in the photo, but on the actual ground through the sound system)
Wah, like the person with the bird eye view lo.
Dunno how to tell you, but its really tremendous.

Unless one have the experience, unless one know exactly what one is doing, I dont think one will be able to speak off and correct items at such precision lo…

*SaLute!

The Parade Commander. You’ll be hearing his voice on the TV on the actual day.
He is so FAIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Got presence one oki, Even Ms Ng also dont dare to lean too close…
And I was on 3inch stiletto, so its not fair to compare height here~

kk, maintain maintain :D

Found out that there are actually students from polys who would come down and do video productions as FYP. Then on National day itself, while the marching is going on, and you see those video on the big screen hanging behind, those are their projects. *interesting…

The hunk of PUB (so they say):

The landscape through my sunglasses:

The two gif that didnt come out right on the site:

oki, check out more over at the NDP site

What you see here is only part of it, Be Nice~ http://www.ndp.org.sg/ndpeeps/?p=164

Do leave comments, tell me what you wanna hear from the participants, what would you like me to ask them. :)

Probably for security reasons, we (the bloggers) were brought around to be introduced. The whole time, I hear all the different different ranks.
At the back of my mind, a bell keeps ringing.

All the different ranks, it didn’t matter.
In as much as due honour is deserved, we all know.
Everyone has a role to play.
It’s not about one man, it’s not abt one woman.
It’s about the team, everyone.
