Savour – a Michelin experience

Was chatting with a friend about his new event’s project called “Savour” a Food expo, ‘cept that this time, this one is alot more atas and classy

In a quick and precise way, its:

Singapore’s newest gourmet festival. 16 award-winning chefs from Michelin-star and world’s top 100 restaurants. 50 signature dishes from $6-$21. FREE chef master classes, tastings and culinary workshops. World produce at the Gourmet Market.

We’re talking about Michelin-star and really food-art, like worth way more than the ticket price kind of thing.

I’m def not the best person to tell you whats it about, cos afterall I hadnt been there yet. But high chances are I’ll be going. So watch out for the experience post thereafter.
Lets arrange something if you are going!

Savour is a new and fun three-day gastronomic showcase that allows you to create your own unique culinary adventure from the myriad of delicious experiences in three exclusive areas: Savour Gourmet Village, Savour Gourmet Market and Savour Gourmet Auditorium. Whether you are looking for a great day out with friends or family or simply want to soak up the exciting atmosphere, Savour has something for everyone.

The Savour Gourmet Village is a purpose-built outdoor venue, designed for epicurean grazing with a spectacular showcase of over 50 tantalising dishes. 16 leading chefs and restaurants from across the globe, will each present two to four of their signature creations to tempt your taste buds. With your Savour dollars, choose your dish, indulge and then move just a few metres away to your next culinary adventure. What’s more, if you are inspired to create your own culinary delights there is always the Savour Gourmet Market where you can sample quality produce from an array of artisan and specialty exhibitors.

Attend cooking master classes by our Celebrity Chefs at the Savour Gourmet Auditorium. Learn the tricks of the trade from the very best in our bespoke air-conditioned theatre-style arena complete with a state-of-the-art Bosch kitchen. Why not try your hand at the complimentary cocktail making workshops, coffee appreciation classes, and the numerous cooking demonstrations? Delight in complimentary Beginner’s Wine Workshops at the indoor exclusive Wine Theatre, or if you are a wine connoisseur, take part in Intermediate and Expert Wine Workshops, at an additional cost.

After all, it’s about having fun celebrating the delicious.

How does your Savour ticket work? There are two sessions per day: an afternoon and an evening session priced at $40 and $60 respectively (excludes Sistic booking fee). All sessions require a separate ticket. Your ticket gives you access to the Gourmet Village, Gourmet Market and Gourmet Auditorium. Each regular ticket includes $21 or $30 Savour Dollars for you to buy dishes at the Gourmet Village, drinks at the bars, and produce at the Gourmet Market. Dishes in the Gourmet Village are priced from $6 to $21 and are sold on a per consumption basis. Should you use up the Savour Dollars included in your ticket, you may purchase additional Savour Dollars onsite. Access to all complimentary public masterclasses, workshops and demonstrations is also included in your ticket on a first-come, first-served basis, subject to capacity.
