IC#2 Teddies

Had the bear on the left as either a Birthday or Christmas present.

But bought the bear on the right in the year 2009.
Was because of matters of the heart.

Felt very stretched in school and was dealing with a one-sided relationship.
Felt so strongly that I wanted someone to come back home to to hug. Just a tight hug.

Since its a one-sided relationship thing, bought myself a bear instead, at least something to pour myself out to, and well, wont answer back, and will be there.

Keeps me human. Never like to show the soft side of myself.

Hence the inspiration:
Teddies… they make me weak but it is also them who make me human

IC#3 Son

One of the earlier pieces,
happen to have bought the pendent for a friend’s birthday I think, so got one for myself as well. Just felt I could present it as The Star of David better.

Hung it on a wire against my monitor. 😀 Turns out the “dirtiness” of the screen was such a backdrop for the starry starry night effect. 🙂

anyway, that photo of his reminds me of Wall.E and it got stuck in my mind.

Happen to be in school today and walked past these!

Like so similar, such coincidence right!
Of course me being me It would be non-stop shooting action!

I lined them up,
I set them in positions with story line,
etc etc

all taken with my Dayrius!
But guess what… Dayrius is dead now…
First the screen fades out to really low light,
then the batt went flat, and after charging for 1 hour, nothing comes on.

Gonna go down to Comms Centre again tomorrow.
Anyway,
So thankful that I tweet out this last one to cheer a friend up.

Its so cute right!!!!!

Probably might gather them and shoot again if I have the time ba. 😀

🙂 Went out to do a Runwayshoot. Just had to experience it since it was dangling in my face and I’ve got invitation. 😀

Its was an interesting experience i would say. like @GenkiGenki said, “dont worry about the technical stuff, just enjoy urself.

and @inrsoul said abt keeping the other eye open, that was very valuable, cos while I was trying to shoot this model, another model marched right out. WOH!
My head was swinging left and right the whole time (almost) 😀

Was just looking at some other photographer’s album… -_-”
I am so entry level. -_-; *dig a hole and hide

but nvm, I had an interesting time and everyone starts somewhere. 🙂

Above: I wanted to do invert selection on the photo above, monochrome everything else, leaving the model’s color on. But well… aint got no Photoshop software…

|Giant Lantern @ Vivocity|

Remember I mention about doing non-routine thing at Vivocity? 😀
and it is closely related to:

so here we go. 😀

Just how many people would take photos with this Giant Lantern within say 1hour?

I had time while waiting for a friend to arrive so I sat there and shot people shooting with the Giant Lantern.

Guess What, I counted. 😀

64 within 54mins!

😀
Which means about 1 per minute, thats a good investment by Vivocity I would say.

Anyway, lets make it a little fun and do a little stats. (all stats are for that 54mins that I was observing and shooting, within my view)

Went out with 2 pros (Geng Hui and Choo Wee)  to do some shooting at Vivocity n Sentosa, so this entry is on Vivocity only, check out the Sentosa ones in the next entry.

Courtesy of my cousin, I reach there very early, so early that I had the time to do some non-routine things. 😀  you’ll will know in the entries to come.

Tweeted much about the weather there, super stressed cos it seems as though it is going to rain.


Didnt help when I saw CROWDS being directed to sit at the amphitheatre in anticipation to get to Sentosa.

– the newspaper the day after says that the crowd was for the IR 😀 –

Having 2hours in hand, I went around snapping whatever that caught my eyes.
Snapping snapping when i realize that I’ve cast my work and school off my mind.
Like I say in a tumblr quote, “The power of Focus, What is that one thing on your mind now?”


A Giant Lantern has landed at Vivocity (pss… that non-routine thing is closely related to this)

He stood there for over 10mins pointing at the same direction. I wonder whats he shooting…

Saw this guy, he was just sitting there… I felt very captured by his body language and it came on to me:
